The Secretary can approve an organisation to help victims of crime. You need to know that the Secretary must check some things before approving an organisation. The organisation must help victims of crime, use any money it gets from the government to help victims of crime, have people with the right skills to help victims of crime, and be able to account for the money it gets.

The Secretary must be satisfied that the organisation meets these requirements. If the Secretary is not satisfied, they can cancel the organisation's approval at any time. The Secretary can cancel the approval if they are no longer happy with the organisation, or if they think there are other reasons to cancel it, and they must do this in writing.

The organisation gets money from section 105F to help victims of crime. The Secretary checks that the organisation uses this money correctly and has the right people to help victims of crime. The Secretary also checks that the organisation can account for the money it gets.
