If you sell or get rid of a motor vehicle that is subject to a confiscation order, you are committing an offence. 132AOffence to sell or dispose of motor vehicle subject to confiscation order

  1. This section applies in any case where a motor vehicle—

  2. is subject to an order under any of sections 128(3), 129(3), 129A(3), and 136(4); but
    1. has not yet been surrendered to, or seized by, a Registrar, bailiff, or constable.
      1. Every person commits an offence, and is liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $2,000, who sells or disposes of the motor vehicle or any part of the motor vehicle.
