If you have a non-association order, it means you are not allowed to associate with certain people. You might not be allowed to associate with specific people named in the order. You might not be allowed to associate with a group of people, like a particular type of person.

A non-association order lasts for a certain period, which can be up to 12 months. The court decides how long the order will last when they make it. You can find more information about this by looking at the Sentencing Act 2002 and similar laws, like s 28A(4), (5).
