164Matters for which permit must not be granted
A permit authority must not grant a natural resource permit if—
- it is contrary to—
- clause 3 of Schedule 4:
- any regulations:
- a wāhi tapu condition included in a customary marine title order or agreement:
- section 55(2) of the Marine and Coastal Area (Takutai Moana) Act 2011:
- clause 3 of Schedule 4:
- it should have been notified and was not:
- granting the permit would result in the breach of an environmental limit, unless the breach is authorised by—
- national standards made under section 86; or
- a water services standard.
