If a new law is passed, a local authority may set charges for certain things. You may have to pay charges when you make an application or request under this law. The local authority can also charge you to cover their costs. The local authority can charge you if they think you have broken this law. They can also set charges as allowed by regulations. You will have to pay charges set by the local authority. The local authority must follow rules set by regulations when setting charges. This means they have to fix charges in a certain way.
