Customer and Product Data Act 2025

Regulatory and enforcement matters - Civil liability - Declaration of contravention

77: What declaration of contravention must state

You could also call this:

“The declaration explains what rule was broken and who broke it”

When someone breaks a rule in the Customer and Product Data Act 2025, a special document called a declaration of contravention is made. This document has to include some important information. It needs to tell you which rule was broken, who broke the rule or helped break it, and what they did that broke the rule. This helps everyone understand exactly what happened and who was involved.
