142: Effect of breach of term or condition of exemption

You could also call this:

“Breaking the rules of an exemption is the same as breaking the original law”

If you’re given an exemption from a rule in this law, you need to follow any terms or conditions that come with it. If you don’t follow these terms or conditions, it’s the same as breaking the original rule that you were exempted from. This is always true unless the exemption itself says something different.
