Administrative matters - Chief executive may approve persons to have principal role in developing standards

99: Approval may extend to other activities

You could also call this:

"The boss can let helpers do extra jobs without asking permission first"

The chief executive can let an approved person do more than just their main job. They can give them extra tasks to do. These extra tasks can include doing some of the chief executive's jobs, like approving other people to request information, keeping a list of important information, or sharing information with others. The approved person might also give advice on when new rules should start. They can also help the chief executive do their job better or help make sure the law works well. When the chief executive gives these extra jobs to someone, they don't need to ask the Minister first, even though they usually would for other kinds of jobs.
