295Definitions for subpart

  1. In this subpart,—

    specified person means the chief executive, Customs, or a Customs officer (as the case may be) carrying out a function under a specified provision

      specified provision means—

      1. any provision in—
        1. subpart 1 of Part 3 (arrival and departure of goods, persons, and craft):
          1. subpart 3 of Part 3 (entry and accounting for goods):
            1. subpart 9 of Part 3 (forfeiture, seizure, and condemnation):
              1. Part 4 (Customs powers):
                1. Part 6 (final and miscellaneous provisions):
                2. any other provision of this Act that is declared by regulations to be a specified provision.
