334: Time when application may be made

You could also call this:

"When you can ask to import or make goods under special rules"

Illustration for Customs and Excise Act 2018

You can make an application under section 333 at different times. If the application is about goods you are importing, you can make it before the goods arrive in New Zealand. You can also make the application later if the chief executive allows it.

If the application is about goods made in a manufacturing area, you can make it before the goods are made. You can also make the application later if the chief executive allows it. The chief executive gets to decide if you can make the application later.
