If you are in charge of a craft, you commit an offence if you do not follow the rules in section 22(3). You must do what the law says. If you do not, you can get in trouble. 23Offences in relation to craft that have arrived at place other than Customs place

  1. The person in charge of a craft commits an offence if the person fails to comply with section 22(3).

  2. A person commits an offence if the person fails to comply with—

  3. section 22(4) or (5); or
    1. a direction given by a Customs officer under section 22(6).
      1. A person who commits an offence under this section is liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $5,000.
