386Possession of incomplete documents
A person commits an offence if the person, without lawful authority or reasonable excuse, has in his or her possession or brings into New Zealand any document or form that—
- is capable of being used for any purpose under this Act; and
- is signed, or certified, or bears any mark or inscription to indicate that it is correct or authentic; but
- is incomplete.
A person who commits an offence under this section is liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $5,000.
