The Registrar has to give you a certificate of registration if you are a social worker and you ask for one, as long as your registration is not suspended and you pay the fee set by the Board. You get this certificate to prove you are registered as a social worker. The Registrar signs and dates the certificate and includes all the information the Board requires.

The certificate tells you what kind of registration you have. If you have provisional or temporary registration, the certificate says so. The Registrar makes sure the certificate has all the necessary information about you as a social worker.

You can use the certificate as proof of your registration, and it is given to you after you pay the required fee and ask for it, as long as you are allowed to practise as a social worker.
