When you are registered as a social worker, some information about you must be entered into the Register. This information includes your name, home or work address, and electronic address if you have one. Your qualifications and the type of registration you hold must also be recorded.

The Register must also include the date you were registered and any other information that the regulations say must be included. The Board can decide to include other information that they think is appropriate.

Your home or work address must be a physical address, not a postal address. If you are registered, the Register must also include information about the type of social work you are allowed to do and any conditions that apply to your registration.

If any of the information in the Register is incorrect or changes, the Registrar must update the Register to reflect the changes. This includes changes to your qualifications, the type of registration you hold, or any conditions that apply to your registration. The Registrar must make these changes if they are satisfied that the information has changed or is incorrect.
