The Social Workers Registration Board has to make sure it can hear from Pacific people at all times. You can think of this like having a special group of advisors who can share their thoughts and ideas. The Board also needs to be able to hear from other ethnic and cultural groups in New Zealand when it needs to.

The Board can do this by setting up special committees or groups to help it understand what these communities think. This way, the Board can make informed decisions that consider the views of different ethnic and cultural groups. It can set up these groups as needed, so it can hear from various communities at different times.
