Practising certificates
37Interim practising certificates
An interim practising certificate—
- may only be issued pursuant to a direction under section 33(4); and
- may be issued with conditions in the person’s individual scope of practice as the Board thinks fit.
An interim practising certificate may be issued either in hard copy or electronically.
An interim practising certificate is cancelled by the issue to its holder of a practising certificate that is not an interim practising certificate.
The Board may, at any time and for any reason, direct the Registrar to give the holder of an interim practising certificate notice of—
- the cancellation of the certificate; and
- the reasons for the cancellation.
A cancellation under subsection (3) takes effect when the holder is given the notice (see section 145).
