Social Workers Registration Act 2003

Appeals

89: Notice of right of appeal

You could also call this:

"You have the right to appeal a decision made against you and must be told how to do it."

Illustration for Social Workers Registration Act 2003

When the Registrar tells you about a decision or order against you, they must also tell you that you can appeal. They have to do this in writing and let you know how long you have to lodge your appeal. This is because section 88 gives you the right to appeal, and the Registrar wants to make sure you know about it.
