Illustration for Social Workers Registration Act 2003

If the Board makes a direction under section 57A, it must give you a written notice. This notice includes a copy of the direction, any written information the Board used to make the decision, and a summary of any other information they used. The notice must be given to you as soon as possible after the direction is made.

The Registrar must make sure you get this notice as soon as possible. You will get a copy of the direction and the information the Board used to make it. This helps you understand what is happening.

The direction does not start until you get the notice, as stated in section 145. This means you will know what is happening before it affects you. You will have all the information you need to understand the direction.
