If you are a social worker, a professional conduct committee can lay a charge against you. The committee can recommend to the Tribunal that your registration or practising certificate be suspended under section 77 while the charge is being decided. The committee can also recommend that conditions be imposed on your individual scope of practice under section 77. This means the committee can suggest limits on the work you can do as a social worker.
