The Social Workers Registration Board must review how the Social Workers Registration Act 2003 is working. You will see this happen every 5 years, starting 3 years after a specific part of the Act begins, which is linked to section 99. The Board looks at how the Act and the Board itself have been working since the last review or since the Act started.

The Board checks if any changes to the Act are needed. They think about what they have found and then tell the Minister about it.

The Minister gets the Board's report and must give a copy to the House of Representatives within 12 sitting days.
