If you are a social worker, you can apply to the Registrar for a practising certificate. You need to fill out a form that the Board provides for this purpose. The form must be accompanied by a fee, if the Board has set one.

The application form may ask for other information that the Board thinks is necessary. This could include details about whether you are working as a social worker at the time of your application. You will need to provide this information to apply for a practising certificate.

You can find more information about the Social Workers Registration Act by visiting the New Zealand legislation website. The Board sets the rules for applying for a practising certificate. You must follow these rules to get a practising certificate.
