The Social Workers Registration Board can change or cancel notices about fees and levies at any time. You can find the rules about fees and levies in section 108 and section 109. The Board must give you at least 28 days' notice before a new fee or levy starts.

If you have to pay a fee or levy, you must pay it to the Board. The Board can take you to court to get the money if you do not pay. The Registrar can refuse to do something for you if you have not paid the fee.

A notice about fees and levies is a type of law called secondary legislation, which has its own rules for publication, as explained in Part 3 of the Legislation Act 2019. The Registrar will not do something that needs a fee until you pay it. The Board makes the rules about when and how they publish notices about fees and levies.
