Repeals and amendments - Amendments to State Sector Act 1988

331: Section 44 amended (Special provisions in relation to certain chief executives)

When you look at the law, you see that section 44 has been changed. You will find that some rules do not apply to the State Services Commissioner, like the rules in sections 35, 36, 38, 39, and 43. This change is made to section 44(1).

You need to know what some important words mean in this law. The Solicitor-General is in charge of the Crown Law Office, and the State Services Commissioner is in charge of the State Services Commission. This is explained in the change to section 44(2).
