When you look at the law about births, deaths, and marriages, you will see some changes. The law says that if someone's new identity was created because of a special request, the Director-General of an intelligence and security agency is involved. This is mentioned in section 65(1)(b) of the law.

Some parts of the law are being replaced, like section 78(5)(b) and section 78(7)(b)(ii). These changes are about who can do certain things when someone's identity is changed. The Director-General of an intelligence and security agency has a role in this process.

The law also says that in section 78(8), the words "Director of Security" are being replaced with "Director-General of the relevant intelligence and security agency". This means that the person in charge of the agency is now called the Director-General. This change is being made to update the law and make it clearer.
