When you want to see the agreements about accessing information, you can find them on the internet. The agreements and any changes to them must be published on a website run by the agency that holds the information and the intelligence and security agency. This helps you know what is in the agreements.

If some information in the agreements is secret, it does not have to be published. This is because the Official Information Act 1982 says that some information can be kept secret. You can still find out some basic information about the agreements.

If an agreement is not published because it is secret, a summary of the agreement must be published on the internet. You can find the summary on a website run by the agency that holds the information and the intelligence and security agency. This summary helps you know what the agreement is about.
