An intelligence warrant is only valid for a certain period, which is 12 months or less. You need to know that this period is specified in the warrant. The warrant will expire after this period.

When an intelligence warrant expires, it does not stop someone from applying for another warrant for the same activity. You can think of it like a new application that can be made after the old one ends.

If you want to compare this to an older law, you can look at the s 4C from 1969.
