The authorising Minister and a Commissioner of Intelligence Warrants can amend or revoke a Type 1 intelligence warrant at any time. They can also tell people to destroy some or all of the information they got from the warrant before it was changed or cancelled. You should know that this can happen to any information that was obtained under the warrant.

The authorising Minister has the power to amend or revoke a Type 2 intelligence warrant at any time. The Minister can also direct that some or all of the information obtained under the warrant be destroyed before it was amended or revoked. This means the Minister can decide what happens to the information that was collected under the warrant.
