The law says the Director-General of an intelligence and security agency can ask for a driver licence for someone who works for them, if it's to protect that person's identity. You can read more about what the Director-General of an intelligence and security agency means in section 4 of the Intelligence and Security Act 2017. The law also explains what an employee of an intelligence and security agency is, which you can find in section 22 of the Intelligence and Security Act 2017.

The Director-General can also ask for new identity information for that person. The law defines some important words, like what an intelligence and security agency is, which is explained in section 4 of the Intelligence and Security Act 2017.

Some old definitions are being removed from the law, like Director of Security, employee, and officer, and new ones are being added, like Director-General of an intelligence and security agency, employee, and intelligence and security agency.
