When you are in a court case about immigration, the court might look at certificates about people. These certificates can now include information about whether you travelled from New Zealand before a decision was made by the chief executive under section 97A(1). The certificates can also include information about whether you travelled from New Zealand when you were not supposed to, according to a decision made by the chief executive under section 97A(1). You might see this information in a certificate if the chief executive decided you could not travel from New Zealand under section 97A(1)(b) or (c).
