21Purpose of subpart

  1. The purpose of this subpart is to enable an employee of an intelligence and security agency to acquire an assumed identity, use an assumed identity, or maintain an assumed identity for the purposes of—

  2. facilitating the ability of that intelligence and security agency to carry out its activities while maintaining the secrecy of those activities:
    1. protecting the identity of the employee.
