53Type 1 intelligence warrant

  1. A Type 1 intelligence warrant authorises an intelligence and security agency to carry out an otherwise unlawful activity for the purpose of collecting information about, or to do any other thing directly in relation to,—

  2. any person who is—
    1. a New Zealand citizen; or
      1. a permanent resident of New Zealand; or
      2. a class of persons that includes a person who is—
        1. a New Zealand citizen; or
          1. a permanent resident of New Zealand.
