108Unlawful use or disclosure of information

  1. A person carrying out an authorised activity must not, other than in the performance or exercise of the person’s functions, duties, or powers or with the consent of the relevant Minister,—

  2. disclose to any other person that the activity is an authorised activity; or
    1. use any information obtained from the carrying out of the authorised activity; or
      1. disclose to any other person any information obtained from the carrying out of the authorised activity.
        1. A person who contravenes this section commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000.

        2. In this section, relevant Minister means the Minister responsible for the intelligence and security agency authorised to carry out the activity.
