22JExpiry of section 22I

  1. Section 22I shall expire with the close of—

  2. 31 December 1996; or
    1. such earlier date as may be appointed by the Governor-General by Order in Council,—
      1. whichever is the earlier, and on—
      2. 1 January 1997; or
        1. the day after any date appointed pursuant to paragraph (b),—
          1. whichever is the earlier, section 22I shall be deemed to have been repealed.
