Health Act 1956

National Cervical Screening Programme - Review of NCSP and duty of Director-General to report

112P: Work of review committee

You could also call this:

"What the review committee does to check the National Cervical Screening Programme"

The review committee has to make a plan before they start their review. You need to know that the plan must follow the focus mentioned in section 112O(2). The committee also has to think about how long the review will take.

The committee must talk to people who are interested in the review about any big issues. After talking to these people, the committee decides what issues to review and when they will finish. They then give their plan to the Minister to look at and comment on.

The committee does the review according to their plan. When they make suggestions, they think about what the National Cervical Screening Programme is trying to achieve. They also think about being responsible with money.

The committee can decide how they will work, unless the Minister gives them written instructions.
