National Cervical Screening Programme - Screening programme evaluators

112V: Criteria for designating employees of Ministry

You could also call this:

"Who can be chosen to check and evaluate health screening programmes"

The Director-General must be satisfied that you have the technical competence to do the job of a screening programme evaluator. You must be able to undertake the functions of this role. The Director-General must also be satisfied that the Ministry and you will manage any conflicts of interest that arise.

The Director-General cannot designate you as a screening programme evaluator unless these conditions are met, despite what is said in section 112U. This means the Director-General has to consider your abilities and how conflicts of interest will be handled. You will be working with the Ministry, so they need to make sure everything is managed properly.
