Health Act 1956

National Cervical Screening Programme - Review of NCSP and duty of Director-General to report

112R: Report by review committee

You could also call this:

"The review committee writes a report on what they found and what they think should happen next."

The review committee has to write a report that includes the details of what they looked at, the conclusions they came to, and any recommendations they want to make. You will see that the report has to cover what the committee found out, what they think about it, and what they think should happen next. The committee must give this report to the Minister as soon as they can after they finish it.

The Minister gets the report from the committee and must give it to the House of Representatives within 10 sitting days. After the Minister presents the report, they must make it available to the public.

The Minister has to follow these steps after they receive the report from the committee, which was a requirement added to the law by the Health (National Cervical Screening Programme) Amendment Act 2004.
