59Appeal against decision refusing consent for stock saleyard or refusing registration of premises for stock saleyard

  1. This section applies if—

  2. consent to establish or extend a stock saleyard under section 58(1) is refused by a local authority or the medical officer of health; or
    1. registration or renewal of registration of premises for a stock saleyard under section 58(3) is refused by a local authority.
      1. A person who is refused consent, or registration or renewal of registration, may appeal to the District Court.

      2. An appeal under this section must be brought within 3 months after the date on which the person is notified of the decision.
