Health Act 1956

Miscellaneous provisions

139: Consequential amendments

You could also call this:

"Changes to other laws because of this Health Act"

When you look at other laws, you will see that some of them need to be changed because of this act. The laws that need to be changed are listed in a part of this act called Schedule 6. These laws are changed in the way that Schedule 6 says.

When you read other laws, you might see the words "sanitary inspector". You should think of these words as meaning a city health inspector, or a borough health inspector, or some other type of health inspector. It depends on what type of area the law is talking about.
