National Cervical Screening Programme - Operation of NCSP

112C: Appointment of persons to operate NCSP

You could also call this:

"Who can work with the National Cervical Screening Programme and how they are chosen"

When you work with the National Cervical Screening Programme, or NCSP, you need to know how people are appointed to operate it. The Director-General appoints people to work with the NCSP under section 66 of the Public Service Act 2020, if it is reasonably practicable to do so. If it is not reasonably practicable, the Director-General can appoint someone in a different way.

You can be appointed to work with the NCSP in two ways: under section 66 of the Public Service Act 2020 or in the special way the Director-General decides. The Director-General can also appoint one person to be the manager of the NCSP. This manager can tell you what to do if you work with the NCSP.

The Director-General is in charge of the NCSP manager and can tell them what to do. The NCSP manager must listen to the Director-General and do what they are told. You must also listen to the NCSP manager and do what they tell you if you work with the NCSP.
