The chief executive can agree for the Parliamentary Service to help some people and groups with administration and support. You might see the Parliamentary Service helping the Clerk, officers of Parliament, and government departments. The Parliamentary Service can do other jobs and tasks given to it by this Act or other laws. The Parliamentary Service gets to help the people and groups mentioned, but this does not stop other government departments from helping the House of Representatives or its members. The Parliamentary Service has to follow the rules and jobs given to it by laws, including this Act. You can find more information about this by looking at the related law. The law is clear about what the Parliamentary Service can and cannot do, and it is important to follow these rules. The Parliamentary Service is there to provide support and help to those who need it, and it must do so in a way that follows the law. This includes working with other government departments and groups to make sure everything runs smoothly.
