You will see changes to the Parliamentary Service. The chief executive can agree to provide services to certain people and groups. These include the Clerk and their office. You can also expect the Parliamentary Service to help other officers of Parliament and their offices. They may assist departments or other government groups as well. The Parliamentary Service can do other tasks given to them by this proposed law or other laws. This proposed law does not stop other government departments from helping the House of Representatives or its members. They can still provide services if needed. The Parliamentary Service has its own tasks and responsibilities.
