Illustration for Parliament Bill

If a new law is passed, the Remuneration Authority will have to talk to certain people before making a decision. You will know who these people are: the Speaker, the Minister Responsible for Ministerial Services, and the Commissioner of Inland Revenue. The Remuneration Authority wants to understand how their decision will affect members' tax. The Remuneration Authority will then create a draft of their decision and share it with all members. You will have a chance to look at the draft and give your thoughts on it. This way, the Remuneration Authority can hear what you think before making a final decision.
