The Minister Responsible for Ministerial Services can change a determination that is currently in force. You can think of a determination like a decision that has been made. The Minister can make changes to fix a mistake, make something clearer, or deal with a new issue that was not considered when the decision was made. The Minister can also make changes if they think there are special reasons to do so, or if they need to update the decision because of changes in travel expenses for Ministers, or to make sure Ministers have enough money for travel expenses.
