Illustration for Parliament Bill

The Minister Responsible for Ministerial Services can change a decision that is already in place. You can think of a decision like a rule that has been made. The Minister can change the rule for several reasons. The Minister can change the rule to fix a mistake or make it clearer. The Minister can also change the rule to deal with a new issue that was not thought of when the rule was made. The Minister might change the rule if they think there are special reasons to do so. The Minister can change the rule because of changes in the money allocated for travel expenses each year. The Minister can also change the rule to make sure Ministers have enough money for travel expenses.
