You will have protection if you share a fair and accurate report of what happens in Parliament. This protection is called qualified immunity and it also applies to sharing a fair and accurate extract from, or summary of, certain documents. These documents must be related to Parliament and shared with permission from the House of Representatives, a committee, or legislation. You are also protected if you share what happened in Parliament, but you did not get permission from the House of Representatives or a committee to do so. This protection applies as long as you share the information fairly and accurately. A report can be a record or transcript of what happened in Parliament, or part of a report about those events. You will have qualified immunity for sharing these reports and documents, as long as they are fair and accurate. This means you cannot be held liable for sharing the information, as long as you follow the rules. The rules say you must share the information fairly and accurately, and only share certain types of documents or reports.
