Illustration for Parliament Bill

The Remuneration Authority can change a decision it has already made. You can think of a decision as a rule that says what people can and cannot do. The Authority can change the rule for a few reasons. The Authority can change the rule to fix a mistake or make it clearer. It can also change the rule to deal with a new issue that was not thought about when the rule was made. The Authority can change the rule if it thinks there are special reasons to do so, considering all the circumstances.
