When you look at the law about electoral rolls, you will see a part called 'Amendments to roll'. This part used to be important, but it is no longer in use. You can find out what happened to it by looking at the Local Government Amendment Act (No 2) 1989, which changed the law on 1 July 1989. This change was made by section 11(1) of that Act. The 'Amendments to roll' part was repealed, which means it was removed from the law.
