Illustration for Local Government Act 1974

When the Commission makes a decision under section 517T, they must do a few things as soon as possible after making that decision. They must send a copy of the decision and the reasons for it to the local authority and the person who proposed the transfer. You will also see the decision and the reasons for it if you are affected by the proposed transfer, as the Commission will give notice to all scheme users and local authorities. The Commission will make the decision and the reasons for it available for you to look at at their office.

The Commission must also make sure you can see the decision and the reasons for it at the local authority's office, as the local authority is required to make them available for public inspection. This means you can go to either the Commission's office or the local authority's office to see the decision and the reasons for it.

You can look at the decision and the reasons for it to understand what the Commission has decided and why they made that decision.
