Roads (other than regional roads), service lanes, and access ways - Privately constructed bridges and ferries

360: Minister may delegate powers to council

You could also call this:

"The Minister can share some of their jobs with the council."

Illustration for Local Government Act 1974

The Minister can give some of their powers to the council. You can find out what these powers are by looking at section 358. The Minister can also let the council make rules about certain things, which are listed in section 359.

The Minister will tell everyone about this by putting a notice in the Gazette. This means the council will be able to do some things that the Minister can do. The Minister can decide which powers to give to the council and when to do it.
