If you look at a law called the Local Government Act 1974, you will find a part that was called section 386. This section was about stopping the supply of water to people outside a district. You should know that this section is no longer part of the law because it was repealed. It was repealed on 1 July 2003 by section 266 of the Local Government Act 2002, which you can find on the legislation website.
