517ZKPower of local authority to enter into contracts with scheme owners

  1. Subject to Part 16A, a local authority may enter into a contract with the scheme owner of any land drainage scheme or water race scheme to undertake all or any of the following, namely, the planning, implementation, operation, and maintenance of that land drainage scheme or water race scheme.
