Illustration for Crown Minerals Act 1991

The Minister can give consent for certain things, like transfers or changes to a permit, under sections like section 41, 41AE, 41B, or 41C, and can add conditions to this consent. You need to follow these conditions, as they become part of the permit. If someone's interest in a permit changes, they might no longer have rights or obligations under that permit, except for anything that happened before the change.

If you stop having an interest in a permit, you will not have to do anything under that permit, except if you did something wrong before you stopped having an interest. This can be affected by the conditions of the permit, the Minister's consent, and subpart 2 of Part 1B. The Minister's conditions and the permit conditions are important to follow.
